Happiness is worth dying for. All of the characters had to suffer in one way or another in order to be happy, but they seem better off for it. Oruha and Suu are dead but they seemed to be at peace when they died because they were happy. Lan and Gingetsu know that their time together will be cut short as well but they endure that painful fact because they make each other happy. Power isn't everything it's cracked up to be. Sometimes those with powers are isolated and ostracized because of their abilities. Never trust a man with a stolen hand. Music is a powerful form of expression. Oruha was able to express both her joy and sorrow in her beautiful songs which attracted Suu's attention and got her curious about happiness. |
