In Saturn's Rings I Feel No Pain

On January 6th, 2010, this site officially turned ten years old. That seems like such a very long time, and I guess with the internet working the way it does, it is a long time for a site to exist. Black Dove has changed a lot since it began. There was a time when there were updates here at least monthy, but now it seems they occur only every other year. Still, I think what I have created is still useful and enjoyable, at least to me.

After the cosmetic update in May, I was planning on moving on to other projects, but I decided to stick with this one and finish the site. Well, I still fell a little short and I developed a few new ideas along the way, but this site has nearly DOUBLED in size. The biggest addition is the manga summaries which have been completely redone and expanded. I also finished summarizing SailorMoonS, which was a considerable project. I added relationship essays as well as a few other informational tidbits and some silly stuff. My Mistress 9 section, which was the only thing that was still from the original Black Dove, has been completely redone. All and all, this was a huge two month project and I hope everyone enjoys it.

Wow! Apparently Black Dove won for the Anime/Manga Character category at the 2010 website Pageant. I never thought any of my sites had a chance of winning anything, let alone such a big category as that, so thanks! I'm really honored.
