Well, it has been 7 years since this site opened in January of 2000. I'm just amazed that it has been that long. When Black Dove first started, it was my first successful attempt at making a character shrine and in many ways it was my first site that was worth the time invested in it. Its style always progressed as my abilities as a webmistress grew and changed,

In truth I have done little to update this site in the past three years or so, but this update is different. I've added a lot more content this time, including new anime/manga summaries, rewritten almost all of the text content, new images, new wallpapers, and so on. I'm really satisfied with the new content and the new look.

Having said that, I think future updates will continue to be small and far between. Hotaru was one of my first favorite anime characters so this site will always be special to me. Still, don't have the time I once did to spend on my sites. I hope this site will continue to be a resource for fans of BSSM and particularly Hotaru.
