As Hotaru prepares for her bath, an image of Sailorsaturn appears in the mirror next to her. She turns to look at her other self, amazed, and the press their hands together. Saturn tells her that she is the self that sleeps within her and that she should not be afraid. The time has come for Saturn to reawaken and for the new mission to begin. Her image fades away and Hotaru precedes to take her bath. She lies back in the bathtub, allowing the water to surround her, as she continues to read her book of poetry. Suddenly her mind is filled with images of the princess, prince, and the Sailor Senshi. She not only remembers her past but she has also become Sailor Saturn. She rises from the bath, her body now matured to the age of an adolescent. She once again sees the image of Saturn, but they are now the same height.

She goes out to her adopted parents, who are naturally shocked to see how much she has grown within the span of a single bath. She reveals that the time has come for them to awaken again as the Sailor Senshi. Unlike in the past, when they were suppose to guard the princess from afar on their own lonely planets, now that they have been reborn with the princess, they can fight at her side together as a team. “Thank you for raising me until now, Haruka-papa, Michiru-mama, Setsuna-mama. Now it's my turn to lead you! To everyone!” She holds out three heart-shaped crystals, than she holds out her own crystal, and she explains that these crystals are a sign of their status as Sailor Senshi. Suddenly a holy chalice appears and from inside of it pours an image of Princess Serenity and Mamoru holding on to each other and grimacing in pain. Hotaru than pulls out a rose from the bouquet on the table and the rose turns black. She explains that a crisis has occurred and the time has come for them to join their comrades. The symbol of Saturn appears on her forehead and the symbols of the other three planets appear on each respective senshi’s head as well. Hotaru runs off, ready to join the battle. Although their peaceful time as a family has come to an end, they are going back to where they belong.
