I must say that I have done some Kikyou fan art that I like. There are flaws in each piece (and they tend to look a bit CLAMP-ish) but I like all of them.

I'd Fly to You, But These Wings are Broken My first drawing of Kikyou is rather dark--Kikyou kneels in a pool of blood. I am working on coloring it, but the blood usually ends up looking fake. When I get the blood figured out, I will color the rest and post that version here. I also liked the title/theme.

Revere I like the face and the expression on this one. This was my first shot at her outfit, and I have rather mixed feelings about it. Hm... The head is too big for the body.

Release Kikyou lets go of the ribon which had been pulling her hair back, as she could let go of the pain which pulls her back. I really like that. The tree she is sitting on looks cool and her face is pretty nice. Her hair isn't the best though...

If I Can Have You Only in Hell, I Will Take You There Oh, spooky title. Kikyou sinks into hell, reaching up. This picture was a pain to draw because I had to decide how her hair would look as she falls backwards. I redrew it about seven times. I wish I would have started it a bit further down the page but originally her hair was flung away from her body. I would have liked to have had her hands in the picture, even if it would have been a big pain.

What Are These Tears? Oh, I like this one, but I don't love the head. Still, the hand, her body, and especially the hair are really nice. If I had made the head a little bit smaller, this one would be my favorite.

Modern Style This is my first try at drawing her in something modern. I thought she might wear something simple but elegant, which could show off her legs (since her priestess uniform hides them so completely). I'm not loving the hand (and I am a little concerned that she is going to fall over) but I like it. She looks really tall.
