&)Introduction ... In this section, I summarize the general story of X/1999, based on the manga, and introduce many of the leading characters. If you have not read X/1999 before, this is the place to start.

&)Manga ... This section goes into more detail about the manga story, specifically as it applies to Karen. All of her major scenes will be summarized here.

&)Anime ... X/TV was the anime version of X/1999. It differed in several details, particularly the ending (in that it actually has one), so this section will summarize Karen's story in the anime.

&)Movie ... X was also made into a movie which tried to condense the work into less than two hours. The result was... not that great, but Karen is in it so I had to buy it.

&)Character File ... Each of the important characters also has what is called a "character file" which was separate from the manga, but are still referenced in the work. This section is a summary of Karen's character file.

&)Miyuki-chan in the Wonderland ... One of CLAMP's sillier works, Miyuki-chan does a cross over with X that includes a brief scene (no pun intended) with Karen.

&)Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle ... TRC is also a cross over work and it includes a few chapters which feature Karen.
