I tend to like characters who have healing powers, although I'm not sure why. Maybe because it is the personality that often accompanies that kind of power.
Hotaru not only has two entities inside of her, but healing powers to boot. Unlike the other people in the list, Hotaru isn't appreciated for her gift by the world at large. She is considered a freak by her fellow classmates who fear her for her strange ability. Chibi Usa and the other Sailor Senshi don't have a problem with it and that makes her feel better about herself. If she wasn't so young (she's not even in high school and he's 22) I think they would make a sweet couple. Anyway, he would make an excellent big brother for her.
Fuu is my favorite character (besides Mokona) from Magic Knight Rayearth. Her first real power is something like Healing Wind, if I'm not mistaken. Her will to optain magic was driven by her desire to help her new friends. Although she does get other powers later, this is my favorite of all of them.
Another BS Sailormoon character with healing powers is Sailormoon herself. Although a lot of her attacks are of a more offensive nature, her Silver Crystal is often used to heal. She may be a little less than graceful, but she is kind and devoted to her friends. If she overuses the power of the crystal, she dies.
Tsunami from the Tenchi series is beautiful, elegant, and a goddess. She doesn't specifically have healing powers, but she does heal Tenchi and Sasami and I suppose as a goddess she could do just about anything she likes. Of the three goddesses of the Tenchi Muyo, she is the most kind and gentle. One is kind of cold and the other is, well… a little nutty.
Angel Sanctuary's Setsuna is something of a tragic figure. He is the incarnation of an angel named Axiel who was doomed to return to Earth life after life, dying a violent death every time. The problem is that he doesn't care about being an angel. He is more concerned about his true love, his sister Sarah. Anyway, he can cure a wound by licking it. He also falls asleep when he sees blood as that his is way of stopping himself in fight. Without doing so, he might kill the other person.
Although I'm not a huge Mamoru fan, I do sort of like him and he does have healing powers. His are similar to Hotaru's and Mitsukake's in that they requires a touch of his hand. His powers don't creep people out like Hotaru's powers do, which doesn't make any sense. He can also apparently use his energy to keep people alive when they are badly hurt, such as when Chibi Usa's crystal is stolen and she goes into a comma.
