"Painted Love" was opened March 14th, 2010, for the Amassment Valentines marathon. The title, as I am sure most people have guessed, is a bad pun based on the song "Tainted Love". I wanted a title that addressed both their romatic relationship, their similarities, and their status as warriors. I tossed around the idea of "Steadfast", but that seemed a little cheesy, so I went for the bad pun instead. You see, because they both wear war paint and they bond when he puts on paint like hers... I know. It's still cheesy. Sokka would laugh. =P
