When I took over this webring in 2001 I had no idea that I would one day have to close it. I guess I never really thought about it. In any case, the time has finally come to close the doors. It is not because I don't want to manage the ring anymore, but that the changes over at Ringsurf have made managing it pointless. Ringsurf automatically drops people from the ring if they do not have the code on the page to which the ring directs their code, which really sucks for people (like me) who use frame layouts. Furthermore, there is no way for me to override this problem. |
